Preventative Maintenance (PM)

CES+ Classifies a Preventative Maintenance as the following:


Projectors and Servers:

  • Remove the projector covers and the air filters will be cleaned or replaced (if onsite at the time of the PM)

  • The Optical system is then inspected and cleaned

  • The internal and external panels are cleaned and inspected

  • The Liquid cooling system is inspected and flushed (Per manufacturer's  recommendation if coolant is onsite at the time of the PM)

  • The projector boards are removed to clean the card cage

  • Once the machine is  reassembled all the security tamper switches are tested and the project boards are married

  • The machine will be leveled if necessary

  • The cinema servers panels are removed and cleaned

  • An internal inspected will be done

  • Server motherboard and video card batteries are replaced per manufacturers recommendation (Hardware cost to be covered by client)

  • Update the projector and server to the current version

  • The projected images are aligned with standardized framing charts to restore focus to your presentation

  • The colors and light levels are calibrated to studio specifications

  • All macros are tested to verify your system is properly operating


Sound

  • Clean the exterior of the sound rack

  • Clean the amplifiers

  • Clean the sound processor

  • Pink noise will be run through each amp and speaker to test for proper signal path and output frequency range.

  • A visual inspection of each speaker is done (If possible without a ladder).

  • Upgrade the audio system software to the current version.

  • Microphones are placed in the auditorium and a full audio calibration is performed. The audio system is thoroughly tested with DCP content.

Emergency Visit (EM)

CES+ classifies an Emergency Visit as the following:

When there is a screen down and the ces+ support center cannot fix this issue remotely we will dispatch a certified technician for an Emergency Call
